Canadian Premier Team Opens Arizona Tour Against SF Giants
The CPBL Canadian Premier opened up their Arizona tour today with a game against the San Francisco Giants.
Wake Forest commit Will Hynes (2025 Ontario Blue Jays) started the game for Canadian Premier and pitched two innings. Hynes was up to 94 with the fastball he allowed zero hits and one run over two innings, striking out two and walking one.
The Giants got on the board in the first with a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Kentucky commit Robert Omidi (Fieldhouse Pirates 2026) singled to center field to tie the game at one in the top of the sixth.
The Giants took the lead for good 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth. The game finished with a final of 3-1
Omidi led Canadian Premier with one run batted in. The infielder went 1-for-4 on the day. Omidi, North Dakota commit Tyson Moran (2025 Great Lake Canadians), and LSU-Eunice commit Kenyon Sikkema (2026 Fieldhouse Pirates) each collected one hit for Canadian Premier . Moran caught three barrels and flew out deep to the wall twice in addition to his single. Missouri Commit Quinn Carson (2025 Fieldhouse Pirates) and Wabash Valley commit Ryan Stalony (2025 Fieldhouse) also drove balls to the track.
