Canadian Premier Face the LA Dodgers in Day 3 of Arizona Tour


On day three of their Arizona tour Canadian Premier couldn't keep up with Los Angeles Dodgers and fell by a score of 12-5 on Wednesday. 

The Dodgers plated a run in the bottom of the first but Canadian Premier tied the game at one in the top of the third. 

An RBI ground out gave the Dodgers the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the fourth. From then on it was all Dodgers.

West Virginia commit Ben Goodacre (2025 Ontario Blue Jays) opened the game for Canadian Premier. The hurler gave up zero hits and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out two and walking two. 

At the plate Evansville commit Benji Kautto (2025 Ontario Blue Jays) provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Canadian Premier with two runs batted in. The left-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Kautto also stole two bases.

 As a group, Canadian Premier amassed nine walks on the day.
