The CPBL is excited to announce the addition of the ABC (Académie de Baseball Canada) at the 16U level beginning in 2025.
The ABC represents the province of Quebec as the ‘High Performance Program’ for High School aged baseball players and has a long and successful track record of producing talented athletes.
During the 2024 season, the ABC began play at the 17U level exclusively and promptly won both the regular season and playoff titles. ABC was well represented in both the CPBL Showcase weekend as well as on the Canadian Premier teams in conjunction with the league partnership with Perfect Game.
“We’ve quickly realized with our 17U program that the CPBL is the best for our players. Again, our philosophy is that the better environment for player development is having the best with the best. That’s the CPBL !”
– Marc-Antoine Bérubé, CAT(C)
Directeur Exécutif / Executive Director
Académie de Baseball Canada
“Since our inception, the CPBL has succeeded in providing the top players in the province an environment where the best can play against the best. By adding the ABC at the 17U level in 2024 and now the 16U level in 2025, this will further expand our competition level and continue to provide the most competitive amateur baseball league in the country. With like-minded management and an on-field product considered by many as one of the top in the country, the ABC will continue as a strong partner within the CPBL . As an executive we look forward to further working with the ABC.”
– Chris Robinson
President, CPBL
