2023 Canadian Premier Team Announced

The Canadian Premier Team that will compete in Perfect Game’s World Wood Bat Association Tournament from October 5-9th in Jupiter, Florida, has been finalized. The roster was formed following an extensive process which began in April during the CPBL All-Star Tryouts. Those tryouts, combined with ongoing player evaluations during regular season play established the teams for the CPBL All-Star Games, which acted as the final stage in determining the roster for this prestigious event. The roster was formed by Perfect Game evaluators in collaboration with the Canadian Premier coaching staff and professional scouts.

The 2023 roster has a wealth of talent that is no secret to the scouting community.

• Currently 13 D1 College commits
• 6 Nationally ranked Top 500 players in the ‘24 Class led by #44 ranked Brendan Lawson 
• 4 Nationally ranked Top 500 players in the ‘25 Class led by #27 ranked Jordan Jacob
• 1 Nationally ranked Top 500 player in the ‘26 Class in #48 ranked Will Hynes
• 10 former Canadian Jr National Team members
• 6 returning players from the 2022 Canadian Premier Team
