14 CPBL Players to Represent Canada in 2025 Draft League Series

14 members of the CPBL have been named by Baseball Canada to the Junior National Team Roster for its 2025 Draft League Series.

The Junior National Team will play six exhibition games against MLB Draft League teams throughout the series. The Frederick Keys and West Virginia Black Bears will host all games, with the Junior National Team playing two games against each of the Keys, Black Bears and State College Spikes.

The MLB Draft League, entering its fifth season, has become the premier destination for Draft-eligible players each summer.

The following CPBL Players have been named;

Nick Halcovitch RHP - Toronto Mets 

Will Hynes RHP - Ontario Blue Jays 

Mathis McKenna LHP - ABC

Julian Sabourin RHP - Ontario Blue Jays

Phillip Cheong OF - Ontario Blue Jays

Esteban Dessureault IF - ABC

Felix Gosselin IF - ABC

Jordan Jacob IF - Ontario Blue Jays

Elliot Lascelles IF - Toronto Mets

Robert Omidi IF - Fieldhouse Pirates

Justin Rompre IF - ABC

Noah Powell RHP - Toronto Mets 

Evan York C - Fieldhouse Pirates


14 of the 26 players on the current JNT roster compete in the CPBL.
