19 CPBL Players Named to National Team Camp

19 current CPBL players have been named to attend the Canadian Junior National Team’s Extended Spring Training Camp from April 17-27 in Dunedin, Florida.

The Toronto Blue Jays Player Development Complex in Dunedin will serve as the home base to the 11-day camp that will feature daily workouts, inter-squad games and home and away games against extended spring training squads from the Toronto Blue Jays, Pittsburgh Pirates, Tampa Bay Rays, and Baltimore Orioles organizations. 

The 19 players represent almost 55% of the roster for the National Team.

  • Ben Goodacre - Ontario Blue Jays
  • Owen Gregg - Fieldhouse Pirates
  • Will Hynes - Ontario Blue Jays
  • Russell Kwinter - Ontario Terriers
  • William Polanco - ABC
  • Ryan Press - Toronto Mets
  • Brayden Ricketts - Ontario Blue Jays
  • Mark Rogers - Great Lake Canadians (pictured)
  • Dante Smith - Toronto Mets
  • Ryan Stalony - Ontario Blue Jays

Under Head Coach Greg Hamilton the coaching staff will also feature current CPBL Coaches  Pete Orr (Toronto Mets) and  Adam Stern (Great Lake Canadians).
